All prices, transactions, and shipping fees on this website are listed and processed in British Pound Sterling (GBP £).
2. Shipping Fees
We offer competitive shipping options across the United Kingdom.
- Free Standard Shipping is available on selected smaller items and accessories.
- Larger items such as kitchen cabinets, worktops, appliances, and heavy materials will incur delivery charges based on size, weight, and delivery location.
- A detailed delivery cost will be clearly shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.
- Hidden Fees: None
Destination: We currently deliver within the United Kingdom only (mainland UK). Delivery to remote areas, islands, or the Highlands & Islands may incur additional charges or longer transit times.
3. Order Processing & Delivery Times
To ensure smooth delivery for your kitchen project, please note the following:
- Order Cut-off Time: 5:00 PM (GMT)
- Order Handling Time: 1–2 business days (Monday to Friday)
- Transit Time: 3–5 business days (Monday to Friday)
- Total Estimated Delivery Time: 3–7 business days
Important Note:
- Custom or made-to-measure kitchen items may have longer lead times (typically 4–8 weeks). You will be informed of the exact timeline during the quoting or ordering process.
- Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next available business day.
- Delivery dates are estimates only and may vary due to supplier availability or courier schedules.
4. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing:
- Your tracking number (where available)
- A tracking link to monitor your delivery in real time
For large or pallet deliveries, our team or the appointed courier will contact you directly to arrange a suitable delivery day and time.
5. Address Changes
If you need to change your delivery address, please contact us at info@themodernkitchenco.co.uk immediately.
We can modify the address only if the order has not yet been dispatched. Once the order is in transit, changes may no longer be possible, and additional charges could apply.
6. Delivery Restrictions
Please note the following shipping limitations:
- We deliver within the United Kingdom only
- We do not deliver to PO Boxes
- We do not deliver to BFPO, APO, or FPO addresses
- Delivery to certain remote Scottish islands or Highlands may be restricted or subject to additional fees – our team will advise you during the ordering process
For large kitchen deliveries (cabinets, worktops, etc.), a ground-floor delivery is standard. Staircase or upper-floor delivery may require prior arrangement and extra charges.
